Ahead of the launch of Senator Maggie Hassan’s “Granite State Made” tour this week, Maggie for NH released a new television ad, “Strengthening,” that highlights her bipartisan work to strengthen the economy and invest in U.S. manufacturing. Senator Hassan worked across the aisle to negotiate and pass into law the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, which takes important steps to lower costs, invest in American manufacturing, outcompete countries like China, and strengthen national security.
“The CHIPS and Science Act, which Senator Hassan crafted alongside Republicans, takes major steps to strengthen our supply chains, lower costs, and bring manufacturing jobs back to America,” said Maggie for NH spokesperson Kevin Donohoe. “Senator Hassan will always stand up for American manufacturing and work to give our country the edge that we need to outcompete countries like China.”
Along with crafting the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, Senator Hassan also led negotiations for the bipartisan infrastructure law, which will help strengthen supply chains by expediting and making more efficient the transport of goods. Meanwhile her opponent, Don Bolduc, opposes both of these laws that will help outcompete China and reduce costs for New Hampshire families. Instead he has supported extreme tax plans that would raise taxes on New Hampshire families, while cutting taxes for the ultra wealthy and corporate special interests.

Senator Hassan: We’re starting to make progress bringing manufacturing jobs back home from overseas, strengthening our supply chains by taking on China – it’s why I worked with Republicans to pass a new law bringing microchip production back to America.
That will lower the prices of cars and all kinds of electronics.
This makes our economy more competitive and helps us make more things in America. Because ‘made in America’ is the way it should be.
